Tender Description
Throughout the year the Wodonga Council may require services to assist with the drainage inspection program, which was completed this year as part of the drainage renewal program. The drainage renewal program identified and prioritised a number of drainage lines that required cleaning out due to blockages or lodged debris. This has created the requirement for stormwater pipe cleaning services.
This tender is to form a panel of contractors that can assist with these tasks.
The objective is to complete high priority pipe and pit cleaning as identified by the renewal program inspections. Contractors will supply operators, plant and equipment for the jetting of stormwater pipes and suction from pits, as well as site signage for pedestrians and advanced warning signage to vehicle traffic.
The Wodonga Council road maintenance team will supply schedule of works including location and known details of blockage and cleaning requirements. The Wodonga Council road maintenance team will supply traffic control where vehicle contraflow or lane occupation or closures are required.
Contractors are to supply rates for the disposal of vacuumed material. These rates apply when the contractor is directed to dispose of the material at a site as arranged by the contractor. This rate will not apply when disposal is at a Council owned or operated site. Disposal arrangements are as directed by the contract superintendent.
The term of this contract is 12 months, Council has the option to extend this contract for a further 12 month period. There is no guarantee of work.
