Tender Description

Lowitja Institute is in the process of finalising the development of several cultural safety related resources. They are designed to support both organisations and individuals to understand more about cultural safety for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, assess their personal or organisational development in supporting cultural safety, guide organisations in how to develop, implement and evaluate initiatives that create cultural safety, and support culturally safe approaches to evaluation.

Two of these resources are the: Cultural Safety Audit Tool for Individuals and the Cultural Safety Audit Tool for Organisations. They were developed by Sharon Gollan and Kathleen Stacey, who are the authors of the AES First Nations Cultural Safety Framework. Watch this short video for more information.

The final phase in development of the cultural safety audit tools is to operationalise them in the digital environment. Through this EOI, Lowitja Institute wishes to identify and engage a suitably qualified digital data specialist who can work with key staff and collaborators to achieve this final phase by or before the end of October 2022.
