Lake Macquarie is the Hunter Region's largest city, accounting for 38% of the Lower Hunter population. With the city's current population fast approaching 210,000 Lake Macquarie is also the third largest regional city in New South Wales by population. Moreover, the city's population is expected to grow by 28,000 by 2036, creating a demand for 13,500 new dwellings and associated infrastructure.
ABOUT THE TENDER: In order for Lake Macquarie City Council to successfully complete its capital works and maintenance programs it requires the provision of precast concrete products. These products include; subsurface drainage, stormwater drainage, pipe drainage, precast box culverts and drainage structures.
