Tender Description
GHD, in conjunction with Greater Western Water, invites suitably qualified contractors to tender for the following contract:
Removal of approximately 210 metres of DN750 MSLB watermain and replacement with a new DN825 MSCL watermain for the same length as part of the Fitzroy Gasworks Redevelopment for Development Victoria, within the City of Yarra. Please note that the MSCL pipework will be procured separately due to lead times. Contractors must be accredited with Greater Western Water for the supply of works and services in Category WC2 (Distribution Water Mains > DN280) and R1 Risk Overlay – Ground Conditions.
If not accredited in the required category(ies), a tender can still be submitted but the required accreditation categories must be held prior to the contract being signed. The tender process will be less time consuming if tenderers are already accredited.
