Tender Description
Tamworth Regional Council (TRC) has obtained State and Federal funding for the upgrade of approximately 5 kilometres of Nowendoc Road between Ogunbil Road and Weabonga Road. This section of road is commonly referred to as Port Stephens Cutting and is located in a heavily vegetated and steeply sloping mountainous environment. The purpose of this Request for Quotation is to engage a geotechnical consultant to undertake two packages, namely:
Package A: Geotechnical investigations and preliminary slope risk analysis; and
Package B: Completion of the slope risk analysis and development of design solutions.
Consultants are required to have experience using the TfNSW Guide to Slope Risk Analysis document to be considered for the work.
Tenders close at 11:00am, Friday 29 July 2022.
Proponents are expected to be advised of the outcome of the tendering process by approximately Friday 5 August 2022.
Council is not bound to accept the lowest or any submission and anyone who directly or indirectly canvasses support from an elected member or servant of the Council will be disqualified.
