Maintenance and Repair Work, Bridge 3236, Warner Glen Road

⁠⁠⁠The Shire of Augusta Margaret River (Principal) is seeking tenders from suitably qualified parties to undertake repair works on timber bridge No 3236, Warner Glen Road.

Bridge 3236 is a timber road bridge over Upper Chapman Brook located within the Shire of Augusta Margaret River on Warner Glen Road at SLK 10.65.

Bridge 3236 is an asset of Main Roads WA (MRWA), therefore, the work undertaken under this Contract will be inspected upon completion by a relevant MRWA representative. The work undertaken by the Contractor is required to comply with MRWA Standards.

A detailed inspection and audit of Bridge 3236 was completed by MRWA inspectors in March 2022. Significant deterioration has been noted and immediate work is required to be completed to ensure the longevity of Bridge 3236.

Shire of Augusta Margaret River is not bound to accept the lowest priced Tender or all or any part of a Tender and reserves the right to conduct the Request for Tender process and select the successful respondent(s) as it sees fit Shire of Augusta Margaret River staff are unable to respond to verbal enquiries in relation to the proposal. Late, verbal or emailed proposals will not be accepted.
