Central Highlands Water operates a NATA Accredited facility on site at 7 Learmonth Rd, for the chemical and biological (microbiology and algae) analysis of water, wastewater, trade waste and associated samples, for internal and external customers.

Central Highlands Water (CHW) is seeking submissions from suitably experienced and resourced contractors to appoint a provider for the provision of Laboratory Services within the CHW service area together with compliance with safety and environmental laws.

CHW wish to appoint a contractor to start providing the service from January/February 2024 onwards.

The analytical services CHW's customers require for their compliance, regulatory and operational monitoring scope far broader than what the CHW Laboratory offers, and as such, these specialised services are sought from another Laboratory provider with the desired capability, to meet customer's needs.

The laboratory services and the specific requirements will consist of the following:

- Testing services (NATA Accreditation)

- Surcharges and ability for priority analysis

- Electronic Reporting and Monthly invoicing

- No minimum invoice charge (per COC)

- Bottle Supply at cost to supplier

- Return freight of eskies at cost to supplier

- Sample receipt 5 days per week. SRA

- Short turnaround times

CHW anticipate the new contract to be awarded to the suitably qualified supplier for a 3year term initially followed by 2x1year extensions; at CHW's sole discretion. This gives a maximum term of contract of five (5) years.
