Vivid Sydney Expression of Interest 2023 - Light and Cross Art Form

⁠⁠⁠We are calling for artists, designers, creative industry professionals, equipment suppliers, architects, engineers, restaurants, event companies, chefs, producers and educational institutions to present their ideas, designs, concepts and interest for inclusion in the 2023 festival program. We’re looking for innovative concepts that engage, inspire and delight.

Vivid Sydney 2023 will take place from Friday 26 May to Saturday 17 June and will feature, for the first time, a dedicate food program - Vivid Food - which will sit alongside Light, Music and Ideas. The annual festival features the world’s best creative minds in thought-provoking talks, a mesmerising free public exhibition of outdoor lighting sculptures and 3D projections, a cutting-edge contemporary music program and the spectacular lighting of Sydney’s iconic buildings and other Sydney precincts.

Vivid Sydney is owned, managed and produced by Destination NSW. Vivid Sydney has been integral in cementing Sydney’s position as the creative capital of the Asia-Pacific and, instrumental in driving visitation to Sydney and stimulating the city’s visitor economy.

This is a globally recognised opportunity for creative industry professionals to participate in Australia’s largest and most iconic event.

Vivid Light Opportunity
Vivid Sydney is calling all light artists, designers, creatives, architects, engineers, businesses and educational institutions to be a part of Vivid Light in 2023. This is a globally recognised opportunity for artists to participate in Australia’s largest and most iconic event.
We want you to present your ideas, designs and concepts for inclusion in Vivid Light. There are three categories:
1. Projection Art
2. Light Installations
3. Taronga Zoo Precinct Creative, Production and Delivery

Vivid Light is a family friendly event, enjoyed by people of all ages from all around the world. All work submitted for consideration as part of Vivid Sydney must be suitable for General Exhibition and must not bring the NSW Government and Destination NSW into disrepute. 
Please note that the supply of projection and technical equipment for Vivid Sydney 2023 will be released via a NSW Government e-Tender process and is not part of this opportunity.
