Tender Description
Parks Victoria is advertising advanced tender notice for the design and construction of the Ararat Hills Trails located in Ararat Regional Park.
The project aims to address the existing informal trail network located within the park creating a sustainable, high quality mountain biking destination while simultaneously improving the existing bushwalking options and nature based experiences in the park. Design and implementation will be focused around creating better connectivity, safer trail infrastructure, minimised erosion, improved visitor experience and rehabilitation of vegetation.
Funding for the project is part of the post-Covid Stimulus project initiatives in partnership with Ararat Rural City Council
