Package Summary

OZ Minerals Musgrave Operations Pty Ltd requires the services of a suitably qualified and resourced contractor to design, construct and commission a new airport fuel facility for the West Musgrave Project (WMP). Key areas of scope can be summarised below:

1. Design, construct and commission a new Jet A1 fuel facility incorporating storage tank/s and dispensing equipment.

2. Associated safety systems including fire suppression and eye wash / deluge shower (if required).

3. Supply of all off-site and on-site labour, materials and equipment to complete the works including supervision, tools, plant / machinery, site survey, testing, reporting and inspection services.

Specific Scope of Works

Design, supply, transportation, installation and commissioning of an Airport Fuel Facility to support the future West Musgrave Airport operations including, but not limited to;

o Storage in the order of 110kL to supply Jet A1 fuel to a single aircraft parking bay to support refuelling of A320, E190, F100 and DH8D aircraft types.
o Coordination with OZ Mineral’s Dangerous Goods Consultant. The scope will include the design and construction of a suitable fire suppression system/s.
o Safety in design, including identification and delivery of engineering controls for safety systems, jet blast, manual handling and determine the requirement for deluge shower and eye wash installation.
o Preparation of an operational manual including a facility asset management plan.
o Supply, transportation, and installation of all necessary components and connection to nominated electrical and water supply points.
o Commissioning, including the provision (and disposal if and as required) of Jet A1 sufficient to complete all necessary testing to enable aircraft refuelling in accordance with relevant JIG standards.
