Korumburra Trunk Sewer Upgrade and Bena Road Branch Sewer

⁠⁠⁠South Gippsland Water (SGW) invites tenders for the construction of the Korumburra Trunk Sewer Upgrade and Bena Road Branch Sewer.
The Korumburra Trunk Sewer Upgrade includes the construction of approximately 905m of gravity sewer in a new alignment (comprising of approximately 610m of DN600 GRP pipe, 177m of DN600 GRP jacking pipe, 103m of OD660 MS pipe and 15m of DN450 GRP pipe), including:
-Connection to the existing downstream WWTP inlet works and connection/modification to the existing upstream manhole,
-Construction of a pipe bridge comprising approximately 36m of OD1067 of MS sleeving pipe, concrete piers, and headwalls, and
-Decommissioning of the existing sewer, manholes and pipe bridge

The Trunk Sewer works are located predominantly on private farming property, with small sections within South Gippsland Shire Council road reserve and SGW land.

The Bena Road Branch Sewer includes the construction of approximately 848m of DN300 gravity sewer in a new alignment comprising of approximately 306m of OD355 PE100, 200m of DN300 GRP jacking pipe and 2m of OD280 PE100.
The Branch Sewer works are located predominantly within South Gippsland Shire Council road reserve, with a small section within private farming property.

A mandatory site meeting and inspection will commence at 10:30am on Thursday 12th May 2022 at 200-210 Bena Road, Korumburra. Contractors are required to register their intention to attend with Jason Williams (contact information below) with at least 48 hours' notice and provide evidence of vaccination.
