Tender Description
The City is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor to supply and install Kikuyu and Couch turf varieties throughout the City.
The City re-turfs a minimum of 1,000 m2 per annum, across various active and passive parks. Re-turfed areas include but are not limited to;
- synthetic cricket wicket turf covering,
- goal mouths,
- centre squares and heavy wear areas within parks.
This Contract is valid for an initial term of two years with two additional 24 month option periods which will be exercised at the sole discretion of the City. The City will appoint one Contractor for the provision of the Services under the Contract.
The Contract excludes turf work which is part of major project works from the capital works program. The Contract also excludes turf varieties, other than Kikuyu and Couch, which might by trialled by the City from time to time.
This Contract does not preclude the City from conducting minor turf works utilising its own resources.
