Tender Description
The Australasian Faculty Occupational and Environmental Medicine (AFOEM) Health Benefits of Good Work (HBGW) Executive Committee seeks expressions of interest for a Chair.
The Health Benefits of Good WorkTM initiative is based on compelling Australasian and international evidence that good work is beneficial to people’s health and wellbeing, and that long term work absence, work disability, and unemployment generally have a negative impact on health and wellbeing.
Chair | position description (PDF)
Key responsibilities:
- attend and Chair all HBGW Executive meetings
- sit on and report to the AFOEM Policy & Advocacy Committee as HBGW Executive Chair
- assist in ensuring that all sub-committees of the HBGW work productively and harmoniously
- guide and promote the future direction of the HBGW initiative.
The HBGW Executive Committee and the AFOEM Policy & Advocacy Committee both meet 4 times a year.
The Chair will be appointed for a 3-year term.
