Scope of Work
Rio Tinto requires a petroleum specialist/supplier to design and construct a heavy duty unloading arm to hook on to TOLL delivery trucks. Drivers typically do multiple deliveries daily whereby they lift and drag hoses that weigh up to 30Kg. The aim is to mitigate any manual handling and musculoskeletal risks associated with operating heavy hoses.
This is a design and construct scope of work.
The upgrade will include but is not limited to:
1) Design, fabricate, install and commission the unloading arm in accordance with Australian and Rio Tinto standards
2) Conduct structural analysis on the unloading arm to determine bending moment, points under high stress and strain forces, fatigue and design accordingly
3) Conduct measurement at each unloading facility and custom make the unloading arm from a standard design
4) Supply all labour, parts, materials, goods, plant, consumables and suitable lifting device for all on-site and off-site works.
5) Commission unloading arm for each site in the presence of a Rio Tinto representative and TOLL Logistics
