Tender Description
The works/services to be provided under the Contract is for all necessary materials, fixings, plant and labour to be provided for the programmed block pruning of urban street trees and parkland trees.
This includes but is not limited to the following tree pruning clearances and requirements:
• Power pole, power pole guide wires and powerline clearances (LV & HV);
• Service line clearances (power / telecommunications)
• Flag poles
• Light poles
• Crown lifts / clearances for pedestrians, vehicles, signage and public lighting
• Dead wooding
• Mistletoe removal
• Formative pruning; and
• Defined miscellaneous tasks
The Contractor will be required to provide Job Safety Analysis (JSA's) or Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), and Traffic Management Plans for all works undertaken.
The necessary insurance required by the Contractor for this Contract is:
- Workers Compensation Insurance
- $20,000,000.00 Public Liability Insurance
Gateway criteria required include:
- Certificate 3 in Arboriculture
- National UET20312 Certificate 2 in ESI Powerline Vegetation Control
- Basic Worksite Traffic Management Course
- Boom-Type Elevating Work Platform Operation Certification
- Traffic Controller Course
- Workplace First Aid Certificate, Level 2
