Scope of Works
This specification outlines the requirements for the supply and delivery of gravel for the Winton Shire Council on the Hughenden Winton Road, General
The Contractor shall ensure that all employees, sub-contractors, suppliers and agents comply with, but not limited to:
• Government Acts and Legislation;
• Ordinances;
• Regulations;
• Local laws and by-laws;
• Codes of Practice;
• Policy and procedures which are in any way applicable to this Contract or the performance of the works under the Contract;
• Technical Specifications in this Contract;
• Australian Standards;
• Manufacturers Specifications; and
• Industry best practice.
In the event of any inconsistency the Contractor shall seek direction from the Superintendent.
Definitions
The Contractor shall mean the company, partnership or group crushing the Gravel.
The Principal shall mean Winton Shire Council.
Contractor
The Scope of Works for the Contractor shall include but not be limited to, for the duration of theContract, the following:
(a) Payment of QLeave levy.
(b) The contractor shall supply material (extraction, winning, crushing, processing, stockpiling and delivery) to the job site.
Principal
The Scope of Works for the Principal shall include but not be limited to, for the duration of the Contract, the following:-
(a) Location and setting out tipping distances for the gravel to be placed on the subgrade surface.
(b) Maintenance of the side track within the nominated job site.
(c) Testing of material
