This Tender is invited by the Issuer.

The EL2 Business Analyst Chapter Lead (Labour Hire) is accountable under broad direction to undertake work with a high level of complexity or sensitivity that delivers quality outcomes across business systems and process improvement functions of the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA).

The position will exercise a significant degree of independence and will use a high-level of decision-making and judgement. The role will be required to coordinate and assume responsibility for highly complex or sensitive projects and work program outcomes and focus on future sustainability projects that have strategic or operational significance to the NDIA.

Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

• Overseeing and ensuring consistency in reviewing current business processes to create a clear understanding of, and to document, the current processes
• Leading the Business Analysists in creation and facilitation of process design improvements by conducting business and systems process analysis.
• Directing program/stream level analysis and producing required analysis documentation.
• Collaborative enablement with other functional Directors in provision of expertise across the Program.
• Development and maintenance of consistent Business Analysis practices, including elaborating user stories, acceptance criteria and process maps with the input from SMEs.
• Facilitating regular Business Analyst forums to support continuous knowledge sharing between the BA practitioners and maintain awareness of day to day challenges
• Leading estimation across squads to support accurate resource planning.
• Support in the professional development of peers within Chapter through mentoring and regular technical enablement sessions to support Business Analysts creation of fully considered User Stories
• Identifying gaps and exercising foresight for opportunities of improvement in their function within Program
• Reducing rework and leveraging the creation of Chapter resources that can be utilised in the future to invest in the agency
• Collaborating and offering insights across multiple chapters, ensuring that concerns are raised, cascaded and communicated
