Mental Health Property Transfer - Advance Tender Notice Only

⁠⁠⁠Within the next couple of weeks, an Expression of Interest (EOI) is anticipated to be released by the Authority (via www.tenders.sa.gov.au), seeking responses (Offers) from Tier 1 or Tier 2 Community Housing Providers (CHPs) to manage 27 properties for the purposes of Mental Health housing.

The objectives include:

•Transferring property management responsibilities to a competent, capable and compliant CHP via an ethical and fair procurement process;

•Supporting successful and sustainable tenancies for people living with complex mental health disabilities including through effective collaboration with support providers

•Ensuring probity, accountability, and transparency

•Ensuring compliance with relevant SA government requirements;

•Ensuring effective property management

•Ensuring maintenance undertaken in line with SAHT Maintenance Accommodation Standards

•Ensuring value (non-financial) is obtained by selecting the best possible CHP to meet the objectives

•Receive SDA funds from Commonwealth for future investment into new supply subject to pass-through
