Central Highlands Training Campus (Ballan) - Construction of Safe Working at Heights Props

⁠⁠⁠The Country Fire Authority (CFA) is tendering the above project and plans to release an Open Tender for the construction of the new Safe Working at Heights Prop.

The proposed works comprise:

• Concrete pavement and services connection.
• Large metal clad shed 30m x 25m and 10m in total height to enclose prop.
• Prop will comprise timber framed building with metal cladding and roofing, roller doors, windows, and internal walls
• The prop roof system will have various roof pitches from 5 degrees through 35 degrees with gutters and down pipes. It will also include prop PV panels, Whirlybird, skylight, and TV antenna.
• Galvanised steel access platform with handrails surrounding prop.
• Sundry works external to the prop including anchor points, various fences, and timber telephone poles.

Construction works will take place on the existing Victorian Emergency Management Central Highlands Training Campus, Ballan.

Compliance with Occupational Health and Safety, and Industrial Relations Management are mandatory requirements.
