Tender Description
The Aotearoa NZ Advanced Training Subcommittee (ATS) in Respiratory Medicine and Sleep Medicine seeks expressions of interest for a Trainee Representative.
The Trainee Representative is involved in some of the operational and local matters referred to in the Terms of Reference, and is responsible for:
- monitoring and assessing individual trainee progress
- confirm completion of training requirements to progress to Fellowship
- providing support to supervisors
Please note that you will not be required to take part in processes involving the assessment of other trainees.
The Committee holds 1 face-to-face meeting and up to 2 video conferences a year. Additional meetings may be scheduled as required.
The next meeting is scheduled for September 2022, but you should expect to be involved in discussions and decisions reached via email throughout the year.
The Trainee Representative is appointed to the ATS for a 3-year term, starting September 2022.
