Tender Description
Bulmans Road is one of the most important north south links within the Melton Township. The urbanisation from High Street to Centenary including signalising the intersection at High Street is required. Catholic Reginal College, St Sienna Primary School and Happy Feet Learning Centre directly abut the road. The schools create significant congestion and with no formalised kerb and intersections, vehicle movements are erratic and create significant safety and congestion issues. Traffic volumes on Bulmans Road is going to increase in future years and this project is seen as a critical component of the improvements that are required in the Melton Township.
The project is to be delivered in two stages:
• Stage 1: Bulmans Road → Westlake Drive to Centenary Avenue
• Stage 2: Bulmans Road & High Street (And Surrounding Area)
A separate contract will be advertised for each stage of work. The scope of work under the Proposed Contracts includes:
