Tender Description
The City of Greater Geelong (the City) invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced security companes to undertake the proviusion of security services for its new office building Wurriki Nyal located at 137-149 Mercer Street, Geelong.
Please refer to the tender documentation issued for further details regarding the full scope of works required under this contract. There is a mandatory site briefing planned for this tender as detailed below.
This tender closes at 2:00pm, Wednesday 1 June 2022. Late tenders will not be accepted.

The following services are a guide only of functions that may be required to be performed as part of the security services delivery. The final scope of services for all categories will be defined and agreed through consultation with the successful Respondent.

- Mandatory Site Briefing
Please be advised that the City will conduct a mandatory site briefing at 2:30pm – 4:30pm on Friday 13 May 2022 for this tender. Prospective tenderers must attend this site briefing. Failure of a tenderer to attend will result in their tender being excluded as a non-conforming tender.
City representatives will be present to discuss details regarding the project and the tender process. Refer to the Tender documents for site location details.
Tenderers attending this briefing are asked to arrive prior to the 2:30pm commencement at the construction site office at Busport, Gheringhap Street, Geelong (near the corner of Brougham Street). Tenderers are to note that this is an active construction site so strict controls will be in place.
Tenderers are required to notify Council of their attendance by emailing the contact person for the tender process with attendee details beforehand.
PPE (minimum high vis vest and helmet) is required.
Draft Contract:
Your organisation must review the Contract Terms & Conditions issued with this tender, as per eProcure Response Schedule 'Compliance and Conformance' section and submit any non-conformances at time of tender submission.
The Draft Services Agreement provided is intended to generally cover the terms and conditions expected by the City for these services, however, it will be subject to amendment based upon the responses provided once the scope of the services becomes more clearly known and defined.
All submissions are to be provided online as an electronic response through this portal, with documentation supporting responses added where necessary.
