Tender Description
The works involve the construction of an approximately 555m long extension to the existing Runway 18/36 at the Airport including all works within the runway graded strip. The construction works require:
• Bulk earthworks including establishment of drainage channels and the runway strip;
• Stormwater drainage construction including replacement of two Ø500mm reinforced concrete
• pipes;
• Aircraft pavement construction and asphalt sealing;
• Airfield pavement markings;
• Grassing and landscaping;
• Airport security fencing;
• Termination of airport access road; and
• Airside lighting installation and upgrades in accordance with current standards utilising LED technology (covered in AGL Technical Specification).
To be considered, the Respondent must have successfully completed a minimum of two Airport Airfield construction projects with a construction value over $5 million in the past 10 years
