This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
Our team is responsible for supporting software connections to Digital Health services including the My Health Record system, the Healthcare identifiers service, Electronic prescribing, secure messaging etc.
Our key stakeholders are software industry but also project managers and technical teams from Jurisdictions, private hospitals, diagnostic services organisations etc.
We are part of the Digital Programs and engagement division which leads industry, government, and jurisdictional engagement for the Agency, driving adoption and usability of digital health. The Division also leads program delivery across the Agency through the Strategic Programs and Workplan Delivery.
The Branch takes a hands-on approach to coordinating and managing all parts of the business responsible for the various program activities to ensure outcomes are delivered on time, to scale and within budget. The Branch is also responsible for the development of the Agency’s annual work plan.
We are looking for a functional Business Analyst with experience in writing software implementation documentation to join our team.

• Capture requirements for ad-hoc projects
• Other projects would also include process mapping implementers’ solutions and support with software integration.
• Understand and develop business requirements
• Work closely with teams across Agency divisions and external stakeholders to elicit, identify, interpret and document business requirements.
• Develop and utilise standard templates to write requirements specifications accurately and concisely.
• Analyse and verify requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards.
• Manage and track the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle; enforce and redefine as necessary.
• Business Analysis and project artefact delivery
• Work closely with solution architects, Conformance and Implementation support teams and external partners to ensure the shared understanding of and delivery approach for the requirements.
• Gather requirements using a range of methods such as interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task, workflow and clinical care pathway analysis, user journeys.
• Manage, document and liaise with the internal stakeholders on requirement changes.
• Develop an approach to and own the traceability of requirements.
• Contribute to content of internal and external communications.
• Develop collaterals for implementers to assist them with their software integration. (e.g.: Training documents, vendor guidance documentation etc.) These will be published in our Australian Digital Health Agency Developer centre.
• Collaboration and co-design
• Work closely with stakeholders and delivery teams to understand dependencies, elicit contributions to project definitions through facilitating workshops and feedback loops to ensure aligned design solution.
• Work closely with the design team to co-create UX/UI design and solution prototypes.
• Participate as a proactive team member to own and deliver agreed activities throughout the product lifecycle.

• Contribute to team activities supporting agility, including daily stand-ups, retrospectives and showcases.
• Requirements and outcome assurance
• Efficiently manage the governance of requirements across teams and stakeholder groups.
• Ensure projects follow agreed assurance processes for policy, security, clinical safety, architecture and design.
• Make decisions that are based on professional judgement, evaluating risks and in the context of a complex and changing environment
