Remediation Works & Concrete Bund Construction at Sodium Hypochlorite Delivery Site

⁠⁠⁠Cairns Regional Council is delivering a series of upgrades across a total of 28 sodium hypochlorite sites (i.e. sites with facilities for the supply, storage and dosing of liquid sodium hypochlorite for disinfection purposes). The sites comprise a combination of water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants (WWTP), and re-chlorination facilities at potable water reservoirs.

Of these sites, 11 will be delivered under this Package 1, as three (3) Separable Portions of works

Site inspections will be carried out over two days - refer to the tender documents for details.

Enquiries: Tender enquiries, questions or clarifications should be directed via the online forum. Cairns Regional Council officers are unable to respond to verbal enquiries in relation to the tender. The forum will close two calendar days prior to the closing time and date. Please ensure that all questions, information requests and clarifications are posted prior to this time.

We strongly recommend that you begin uploading your tender submission files at least two (2) hours BEFORE the tender closing time.

Closing Time and Date: The tender closes at 4:30 PM, Tuesday 31 May 2022. Submissions must be fully received by this time. Late, verbal or emailed tenders may not be accepted and will be subject to Council's sole discretion.

Submissions will not be opened publicly. The lowest or any tender may not necessarily be accepted.

Council reserve the right to change the specifications prior to making a decision on the submissions received in response to this invitation.

Council may invite all Respondents to change their submission to take into account any change in the tender specifications.

Tenders are to remain valid for a period of 120 days from the Closing Time.
