Tender Description
Brisbane Move is seeking EOIs from suitably qualified companies for the services of specialist providers who can undertake the growing of bespoke tree, palm, accent and vine specimens to support Brisbane Moves’ commitment to delivering lush, subtropical green infrastructure across the inner city and suburban works packages.
Services requested may include but are not limited to:
• Expert horticultural advice with deep market visibility on plant stock availability and supply.
• Growing and supplying bespoke;
− Clear trunk heights for street trees and accent specimens.
− Canopy forms for ex-ground super advanced feature trees.
− Clear trunk heights for vines including growing frames, transport, and installation solutions.
− Root ball management measures for advanced tree and palm specimens.
− Year one flowering for some accent specimens with long flowering cycles.
• Trunk supported epiphyte growing and maintenance solutions.
• High quality growing locations in accordance with best practice industry standards.
• Locational growth strategy to maximise growth within a limited period.
• South East Queensland hardening off and inspection locations.
Brisbane Move will accept proposals from consortia of nurseries, horticultural and manufacturing specialists and landscape contractors that demonstrate an understanding of the technical and operational requirements of delivering bespoke green infrastructure.
