Azure Developer

⁠⁠⁠The Department of Agriculture, Water & the Environment is seeking a suitably qualified Azure Developer interested in monitoring development and support to deliver the End-to-End Monitoring Project.

The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate experience across the following technologies

• Microsoft Technologies includes:
o Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipeline
o Azure Monitor
o .NET, SQL
• Infrastructure As Code (IaC), Cloud Formation, Terraform
• Linux operating systems
• Cloud-based Software, Platform, and Infrastructure service offerings, including container services; and
• Understanding application development and processes

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines
• Configuration and management of existing monitoring tools largely based in Azure
• Implementation and design of new monitoring toolsets
• Documenting and running changes (start to finish) under the ITIL framework
• Support and refinement of monitoring tools through consultation with business.

Please note, flexible working arrangements are supported by the Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment. Remote working may be considered on a case by case basis.
