Wal Turner Reserve has been recognised as playing an increasingly important role within the Noble Park North community by its capacity to offer competition sports. Situated adjacent to Silverton Primary School and surrounding residential areas, W J Turner Reserve is a multi purpose reserve providing for both cricket and soccer.
The existing pavilion at W. J. Turner Reserve is used exclusively by Silverton Cricket Club and Masala Football Club. The existing pavilion is considered to be in a good condition. The club membership has had significant recent growth and is expected to continue. As a result, the functionality of the existing kitchen no longer meets the club’s needs and requires upgrading.
