Proposed upcoming procurements.
The Victorian Government hereby notifies potential tender participants that it intends to undertake the following procurement in relation to the expansion of the forensic mental health beds at the Thomas Embling Hospital.
- Engagement by selective tender of a suitably qualified and experienced Project Manager.
Further detail on the proposed upcoming procurement is provided below.
The Victorian Government has committed $349.6 million for the planning and delivery of 82 new forensic mental health beds and supporting infrastructure.
Proposed Scope.
The Project Manager, in conjunction with the Victorian Health Building Authority project team, Thomas Embling stakeholders and project consultants will assist in the delivery of the Forensic Mental Health Expansion Project.
The Project Manager will assist the Project Director and the project team in all aspects of the project, including the management of consultants and the Managing Contractor, town planning, liaising with stakeholders and project administration.
The Project Manager will be required to provide an experienced and capable person(s) to assist in the delivery of the Forensic Mental Health Expansion Project.
