Monash University seeks to:
-Procure an (I.T.) Application Performance Monitoring and Alerting Platform that meets the needs of the organization
-A solution to cater for growth and usage of the data platform.
The supplier will provide the best value proposition (education & volume discounts), timely delivery as well as configuration, transition and ongoing maintenance support of the solution procured for this project.
Monash currently uses Splunk Cloud to collect machine generated data in (near) real time for the purposes of:
- A central repository of logs produced by IT assets and University wide applications (internal and externally cloud hosted)
- Ability to normalize and enhance ingested data for the purposes of performing data analytics
- Security information and event management.
- Monitoring, event logging and issue alerting across the operational estate
- Escalation and on call rostering to align human resources with operational support.
The University is seeking a partner that can offer the combination of quality products and services that will provide Application performance Monitoring and reliability at the best value. This also includes warranty, and support services. Partners must have the capacity to meet enterprise demands and support levels.
