WH is seeking tenders from competent operators for the management and operation of all car parks located on the Footscray and Sunshine Hospital Sites.

WH is primarily seeking an Operator who is able to work with WH as a partnership to develop and implement a long term strategy that will best achieve WH car parking objectives which includes:

• Employee and public safety.
• Public/patients given preference to close campus access where practical.
• Maximise cash flow whilst achieving the above.

The Successful Tenderer will be the party that is best able to demonstrate compliance with the tender specifications whilst optimising the achievement of WH car parking objectives detailed above.

The Operator must have demonstrated proficiency in using the Skidata software platform and associated equipment in large scale car-parking operations.

The contract will be structured as a two year, 10 month contract with a WH option to extend for on a month by month basis for a further one year term. At the completion of the term Car parking Management Services will transition to the Public Private Partnership established for the New Footscray Hospital.

Tenderers should note that Capital investments to support an increase to car parking capacity does not form part of this tender.

Equipment

Car parking equipment currently deployed on Western Health Sites to support Site Car parking operations is listed in Appendix A. The provision of new equipment is excluded from this tender however tenders will be required to provide further detail in their response to how they intend to maintain the integrity and serviceability of the existing equipment fleet.
