The Job
The duties of the role include:
• Developing and maintaining working relationships with stakeholders to facilitate data collection, review, analysis and reporting.
• Conducting investigations and analysis to design solutions for projects and/or data system issues and the identification of potential improvements in data capture, linkage, transformation and flow.
• Administrative tasks such a mailbox/file management, tracking and delivery against KPIs and end-to-end management of reporting requests.
• Understanding the Department’s business needs and mapping business requirements into system requirements.
• Apply structured analysis methods, tools and techniques for creating business requirements specifications to clearly document scope items, requirements, detailed functional and non-functional requirements.
• Facilitation of workshops with project stakeholders to establish "common-ground" on requirements and publishing the baseline.
• Timely identification and escalation of risks and issues.
• Reporting of scope creep and conflicting requirements of various stakeholders through effective communication, escalation, and stakeholder management.
• Co-ordinate user acceptance testing to ascertain that the requirements are met, overall efficiency is achieved, and the usability of system is as expected.
• Interstate travel will be required for stakeholder and project engagement.
