Tender Description
Transport for NSW (TfNSW) invites tenders from pre-qualified contractors undder the National Prequalification Scheme at Road Category R3 or higher and Financial Level F5 or higher for the construction of a bus layover facility and associates work on the North West Transit Way at Sunnyhold Road Blacktown. The bus layover facility will cater for up to 11 buses (12.5 metre or 14.5 metre in size) at any one time and include a dedicated driver’s facility (amenities building) and amenities building for the exclusive use of bus drivers.
This work associated with the bus layover consists of, but is not limited to:
- construction of a bus layover area including earthworks, retaining walls, pavements, signage, and line marking.
- construction of an amenities building including toilets and kitchen for bus drivers.
- construction of new retaining wall.
- upgrade and realignment of Gordon Street adjacent to the NW Transit Way.
- upgrade pavements along the NW Transit Way adjacent to the bus layover and Gordon Street.
- construct new utilities and protect or relocate existing utilities.
- landscaping.
A pre-tender meeting and site inspection will be held at 10am – 12pm on Tuesday 12th April at Mantra Parramatta (Cnr Parkes St and Valentine Ave, Parramatta). Attendance is mandatory to submit a conforming tender.
