Tender Description
The department is upgrading its Export Certification systems to deliver modern, high quality, easy to use software solutions for a variety of export commodities. We are looking for senior developers with experience in overseeing the design and development of new and existing bespoke software applications. Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills with business and technical stakeholders, mentoring junior developers and experience in developing clear and comprehensive technical documentation are required.
Job responsibilities:
• Develop enterprise-grade software using Java and Oracle technologies
• Develop and maintain web-based UI using ReactJS, CSS and HTML
• Design and develop secure, maintainable software using best software development practices and software design patterns
• Update and maintain existing export certification systems to ensure a smooth and uniform user experience across a variety of platforms.
• Architect software based on service-oriented and event-driven architectures
• Design data models, translate to physical data models and implement using Oracle Database.
• Implement CRUD operations on the database using Java Object-Relational Mapping frameworks.
• Produce detailed design artefacts and technical specifications
• Develop SOAP and REST web services for internal system-to-system integration as well as B2G integration.
• Implement and maintain form-based and federated authentication and fine- and coarse-grained role-based access control
• Design and develop web services using a top-down approach
• Create and read WSDLs, XML Schemas and XML payloads
• Develop and maintain workflows using BPEL and Oracle SOA Suite
• Use and configure Oracle Middleware, in particular:
Oracle WebLogic application server
Oracle SOA Suite: BPEL Process Manager, Service Bus, Event Delivery Network
Oracle Database
Oracle Identity and Access Management
Oracle HTTP Server
• Use GIT for source code versioning
• Use SoapUI and Postman for testing SOAP and REST web services and test automation
• Use Maven for dependency management
• Use Jenkins for build and deployment automation
• Keep up to date on the newest technological innovations in the field and be ready to apply relevant innovations to our software systems.
