The successful candidate will be responsible for the following deliverables and activities:
1. Provides technical/functional analyses in identifying, evaluating and developing solutions related to system processes and procedures that are fit-for purpose and cost effective.
2. Understand, capture and communicate business direction, challenges and requirements.
3. Deliver business solutions that may include technology implementations and/or system/process adaptations.
4. Collaborate with developers in solution implementation and conducting periodic implementation reviews.
5. Work closely with the solution architect to ensure proposals meet long-term objectives of the team.
6. Keep abreast of latest trends in technology, industry and corresponding business domain
7. Perform research, interviews and business workshops to determine business requirements and then translate requirements into suitable artefacts.
8. Work with Business Analysts to investigate, facilitate, model, and organise information to reconcile conflicts, elicit business requirements and distinguish solution ideas from business needs.
9. Assist and support business Change Management activities.
10. Support the delivery of initiatives by helping project teams meet schedule, business and budget objectives.
11. Provide leadership assistance to other analysts in planning, analysis, and execution of plans.
12. Identify, investigate, problem solve and deliver on continuous improvement opportunities.
The successful candidate is expected to exhibit the following behaviours:
1. Work collaboratively with Portfolio Performance Management team and other Investment Portfolio Management Branch members to delivery CapabilityOne outcomes.
2. Develop and maintain professional, respectful and positive relationships with CapabilityOne users, product owners, and suppliers across Defence Groups.
3. Contribute to a harmonious team environment that fosters innovation, creativity, and team collaboration to deliver project outcome.
4. Provide mentorship and guidance to other team members, APS and third parties as required.
Miscellaneous
1. Other tasks as requested by Director Portfolio Performance Measurement in accordance with Defence outcomes.
2. The successful candidate will be expected to adhere to the requirements of working within the Defence Secret Network.
