Tender Description
Following the recent changes to the Gig State project, the Department of Regional NSW (DRNSW) is refining locations to deliver improved connectivity. To support this, this Request for Information (RFI) is seeking information from telecommunications providers who currently operate, or are planning to operate, broadband services in regional NSW.
The purpose of the Request for Information (RFI) is to:
1. Provide an update to the market about the changes to the Gig State project; and
2. Seek information from the market to support decision making and planning of investment for broadband connectivity in regional NSW.
Response to this RFI is voluntary and is independent of any subsequent process run by DRNSW. Response to this RFI will have no bearing on participation in any future processes.
