Advance Tender Notice - Cathodic Protection Services: Maintenance, testing and minor works

Yarra Valley Water ( YVW) is seeking to enter into a contractual agreement with a Cathodic Protection services provider for YVW's Cathodic Protection Program. The main purpose of this program is to minimise corrosion of water storage tanks and metal pipelines. By protecting these assets against corrosion, YVW can extend the life of its assets to prevent against early failure and subsequent replacement of the asset.

The objectives of this contract are to ensure that:

• YVW meets all legislative requirements relating to Cathodic Protection
• YVW’s metallic assets are sufficiently protected from corrosion to increase their operational life
• YVW’s existing Cathodic Protection assets are maintained to meet operational and safety requirements
