Tender Description
The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for submissions for the design and construction of Infill And Refurb Works at Mackay Norther Beaches State High School, located at 75 Smith Street,30 Rosewood Dr, Rural View QLD 4740.
The project is made up of 2 separate funded sections and needs to remain fiscally separable at all times, these should be incorporated in the pricing schedules appropriately.

34-158360 - Mackay Northern Beaches State High School ‐ Future Skills Project ‐ Block D
These works relate specifically to Refit of Block D to provide an updated workshop ( Maker Space) for the teaching of a wide range of industry aligned machining and construction skills, incorporating the STEM fundamentals
34-157819 - Mackay Northern Beaches State High School New Learning Spaces
These works relate specifically to:
Infill of Block S which allows for an additional 6 GLA spaces
Reconfiguration of Block H to convert 1 GLA & associated spaces into a Senior Hospitality Kitchen
Reconfiguration of Block Q to convert 1 Graphic Design room and associated spaces into a Senior Engineering Workshop.
Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors with a minium PQC Level 3 with certified 3rd Party Quality Assurance and a QBCC Builder's Licence to undertake the entire scope of works.
