Tarawera Rd Forestry Access

⁠⁠⁠This contract comprises construction of an access way off Tarawera Rd in the Rotorua District (southern of the northern end of Oakera Loop Road). The purpose of the proposed access way is to provide a dedicated access point off Tarawera Rd for commercial forestry vehicles to enter Whakarewarewa Forest. This includes creating an asphalted entrance off Tarawera Rd, and the start of the road into the forest. Construction of the forestry road from the end of the asphalt to Red Tank Rd is out of scope.

Tenderers are required to attend a mandatory site meeting at 9am on Wednesday 23rd March. Please wear a hivis top/vest and meet at the location of the proposed access way. You may wish to park at the Oakera Loop Rd intersection and walk to site.
