Kiama Council is seeking qualified, reliable, flexible freelance graphic designers who can work independently to a brief, follow house style, and provide some design flair when requested / appropriate.
Scope of work
Graphic design work including: advertisements, advertorials, posters, reports, brochures, flyers, web content, creating infographics, graphs, charts, etc.
The graphic designer needs to have their own work setup including computer, software licences / logins (eg: InDesign, Adobe CS, Canva, Dropbox).
Designers will be expected to create and work on files in InDesign / Adobe Creative suite and will need to submit final files and all assets to Council once a job is completed and approved.
- Some Photoshop work may be required.
- Some digital skills (eg: social media, Canva, Wordpress) would be an advantage.
Some jobs will use existing templates, others will require a refresh of an old template/design. Still others will require entirely new design and layout.
Council has an extensive photo library and can supply most images that will be required. However, designers with some local knowledge would be a bonus.
