The Victorian Health Building Authority (VHBA) is intending to release an Expression of Interest (EOI) on Wednesday 2nd March 2022 and Request for Tender (RFT) in June 2022 for construction delivery of the Ballarat Base Hospital Redevelopment (BBHR) Stage 2 - Central Energy Plant and Support Services project.
The Stage 2 - Central Energy Plant and Support Services project consists of:
a new purpose-built Central Energy Plant Building (total approximate area 7,500m2 Gross Floor Area) which includes the following functions:
- Central Energy Plant
- Pharmacy and Pathology
- Education and Training
- Engineering Workshop and Storage
- Staff office spaces
- Underground Services Tunnel inclusive of services infrastructure
Ancillary enabling works to facilitate the future Main Works
These works form the second stage of a larger redevelopment project at the Ballarat Base Hospital.
