Tender Description
The Surf Coast Shire Council invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the operation and management of Council's landfill at Anglesea and its associated waste transfer station.
Only tenderers who can demonstrate through their submission that they possess relevant industry experience in landfill and transfer station operations and management, a commitment to the delivery of a quality service and the necessary health and safety systems will be considered for this service.
The Anglesea Landfill is expected to reach capacity and close in the next four to eight years. The contract is for an initial four year term, with the option of up to a further 4 x 1 year extensions at Council's discretion.
An optional site inspection will be held on 2 March 2022, for tenderers to satisfy themselves with the locations, extent and condition of sites prior to their submission. Tenderers wishing to attend this site inspection will need to register with Council by 28 February 2022.

Tenders must be completely uploaded into the electronic tender box by the closing time. Tenderers will receive a Successful Submission
Receipt timed and dated upon completion.
Tenders not complying with the requirements - for example, tenders submitted by facsimile or email, will not be accepted. It is the Tenderer's responsibility to ensure that correct lodgement occurs. Submissions not conforming to these conditions may not be accepted, in the absolute discretion of Council.
