Tender Description
Contractors wishing to be considered must be able to demonstrate their ability to
complete works for the following:
• Design, supply, install and test all equipment required within the LV
switchrooms, inclusive of landing platform, stairs and support steelwork.
• Switchrooms are required to include an entry landing / platform and access
stairs for each doorway. The stairs shall be designed to extend down to a
ground level footing.
• Design, supply, install and test all cabling between all equipment panels.
• Design, supply and install network interface panels to facilitate external
interfaces.
• Schedules and termination drawings shall be provided by the Supplier for site
assembly of any equipment that is required to be disconnected to facilitate
transport.
• Design, supply, install and test switchroom Lighting and Small Power
Distribution Boards.
• Supply, install and test internal and external lighting, inclusive of emergency
lighting.
• Supply an N+1 air conditioning system complete with pressurisation fan.
• Air conditioner / fan circuits shall include a fire interlock remote trip circuit.
• Design, supply, install and test a UPS for each switchroom.
• Design, supply, install and test VVVF’s as defined on the Single Line Diagrams
for each switchroom.
• Design, supply, install and test Plant Control System (PCS) equipment
within each switchroom.
