Provision of Corporate Branded Wear and Personal Protective Equipment

⁠⁠⁠The scope of this Request for Tender is to seek a Service Provider who can successfully provide a service to supply WorkSafe with a range of Corporate Branded Wear and Personal Protective Equipment.

Corporate Branded Wear (CBW) and Personal Protective equipment (PPE) are split into two distinct packages. WorkSafe reserves the right to appoint one firm, different firms or a consortium to supply these packages.

Term of the contract: WorkSafe intends to enter into a three (3) year contract with two (2) one year options to extend, for a total of five (5) years.

This Request for Tender must adhere to the Guild to procuring Uniforms and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which requires;

Local Manufacture

The goods, if they are able to be manufactured locally, must be locally manufactured. This means:

• (locally) the Goods must be manufactured within Australia or New Zealand;
• (manufactured) the Goods must be substantially transformed : for example a clothing item substantially transformed from fabric to a garment through the “cut, make and trim” process” and
• (able to be locally manufactured) that there exists within Australia or New Zealand a genuine market and manufacture(s) who are able to manufacture the Goods.

Imported goods will be considered only where buying locally made goods is not possible.

WorkSafe Victoria are must procure from registered suppliers on the Ethical Supplier Register, please ensure you are on the Ethical Supplier Register before submitting a response.
