Streetlighting works for Oxley Highway and Country Road Roundabout, Westdale NSW

⁠⁠⁠Tamworth Regional Council (TRC) is seeking tenders from suitably qualified electrical contractors for Contract No. T114/2022 , Street Lighting works at the Oxley Highway and Country Road Roundabout.

A new roundabout is currently under construction at the intersection of the Oxley Highway and Country Road. The roundabout requires new street lighting for the roundabout and associated road approaches, along with the sculpture for the centre of the roundabout.

The scope of work includes construction of street lighting for the roundabout and associated intersection legs in accordance with the approved design drawings, Essential Energy approvals to construct the works, and preparation and implementation of the construction management plans.
Tamworth Regional Council invites submissions from electrical contractors with the appropriate experience and qualifications, including Essential Energy Level 1/2 Accredited Service Provider (ASP), to complete this work. Preference may be given to contractors with independent accreditation on their Integrated Management System (IMS) in accordance with ISO9001, ISO 14000 and AS/NZ 4801.

This is a Quality Assured Contract with method of payment being Lump Sum.

Council is not bound to accept the lowest or any submission and anyone who directly or indirectly canvasses support from an elected member or servant of the Council will be disqualified.
