1 x Project Manager – Integration and Systems Delivery

⁠⁠⁠The Project Manager – Integration and Systems Delivery, reporting to the OCIO Director of Integration Delivery, is responsible for planning and managing ongoing delivery of a number of key integrated solutions/services (print, document verification, inbound and outbound files and documents and other services) from internal and external parties into the new NDIA core Business System.

Duties

• Co-ordinate technical solution planning activities for new capabilities and features requested by the business, involving Architecture, specialist delivery teams within OCIO and NDIA’s vendors;
• Develop the project schedule and maintain the OCIO plan, balancing technical dependencies and business requirements and other priorities
• Deliver all technical components of the project solution, working with internal and external teams to develop system and solution architectures, cyber security architecture and other aspects of the technology delivery for which OCIO is responsible
• Manage delivery partner(s) for system implementation – this will include NDIA teams, Services Australia teams and commercial vendor teams;
• Work closely with the Product Owner & delivery teams staying abreast of status of the day-to-day delivery of the core technology solution being delivered in sprints, whilst providing guidance and the OCIO point of escalation for resolution for technical issues
• Represent the project in OCIO ICT Change Management activities and release planning
• Ensure OCIO technology standards are met, including Cyber assessments, Penetration testing, go/no-go gates,
• Apply DevOps principles to improve quality and reliability, in areas such release processes, automated regression testing, integration with OCIO monitoring systems, and synthetic testing
• Actively manage delivery of the project using OCIO’s standard Project Management tool, including management of plans, risks, issues and key decisions.
• Publish Weekly OCIO Status Reports and review with the Director, Integration Systems Delivery
• Maintain a positive collaborative teaming environment including business and delivery partner(s)
• Provide ICT delivery leadership to the team, including on conformance to delivery methods
• Be a champion for continuous improvement, leveraging deep experience in ICT Delivery
