The Nhulunbuy Corporation is seeking a professional organisation to undertake large scale repairs and maintenance to the existing structure at the Gove Airport terminal. This work will include but is not limited to, rust treatment and prevention, painting, replacement of roof purlins and replacement of roof sheeting. (refer to Attachment 1 & Clause 5 - Scope of Works for more detail)
Background Information:
Gove Airport terminal was originally built in 2004/5 and is in need of substantial remedial works and repair particularly to the external surfaces and roof structure. (refer scope of works for full details) It is intended that the Airport will continue operations throughout the duration of the project with minimal disruption to flight schedules. Consideration will need to be given to develop strategies allowing for this continuity, whilst meeting project deadlines. It is likely that this will require working outside normal business hours including night works.
