Geoscience Australia is a custodian of a large collection of imagery digitised from historical aerial survey films. We are seeking a geospatial professional to join our team to work on creating new digital products from this collection of historical aerial imagery.
A person in this role will:
• create orthorectifed images and image mosaics with Esri ArcGIS Pro software, using an established process
• keep track of and report on progress of the processing work
• prepare imagery data products for publication on a geospatial server platform
• perform data management tasks associated with data processing and preparation of output products for online delivery
• compile metadata and quality reports for the output products
• conduct other geospatial tasks, if required.
Products produced will be assessed against quality criteria by other subject matter experts in the team.
