Tender Description
FCC have proposed a small-scale pilot of public EV charging infrastructure to inform forward planning for a future large-scale roll-out of EV charging in Frankston. The targeted pilot project will run for three years with the option of extension for an additional seven years (2 + 2 + 2 + 1) at Council’s discretion.
Frankston City Council (FCC) is committed to environmental sustainability and playing an active role in combating climate change. Demonstrating this commitment, Council is promoting the use of electric vehicles (EVs) in our city to advance Frankston’s sustainability agenda and prepare for a societal shift in mobility.
Council declared a Climate Emergency in 2019 and has adopted net zero emissions target for its operations by 2025.
