Tender Description
Zinfra is requesting suitably qualified Contractors to provide a price to relocate two DN550 Pipeline sections of the Sydney Primary Gas Main (SPM). Additionally the DN 250 Rhodes primary gas main lateral is to be made redundant and abandoned.
The SOW includes:
- Gas isolation plan for Mortlake to Fleming primary gas main section and Rhodes lateral section,
- Pipeline relocation along the Victoria Avenue section (including cut-out and removal of the replaced existing pipeline length)
- Abandonment of the DN250 Rhodes lateral including removal of the offtake branch, valve assembly and about 30m of pipeline length to make the trench available for installation of the north-south leg of the Canada Bay section,
- Pipeline relocation along the Canada Bay section (including cut-out and removal of the replaced existing pipeline lengths at each tie-in point),
- Re-establishment of the Mortlake to Flemington primary gas main section into normal gas supply service.
- Removal of DN550 redundant pipeline section with the school boundary,
- Restoration works.
There will be a Site Visit/RFT Briefing on 11th February 2022.
